Bitcoins sucess is predicated on the fact that the central bank is a means to harvest the wealth of a nations citizens and funnel it to the ruling class.

If this is true, Bitcoin will always have an advantage over fiat and wil continue to attract wealth.

If it's not true, then Bitcoin is likely a passing fad.

This is why its hard to understand Bitcoin, not because of the technical complexity, but our reluctance to believe this disturbing fact.
